Choosing to work with a sleep coach can be daunting. It is important to work with someone you connect with and who’s approach values speak to you.
Helping your toddler sleep peacefully shouldn’t feel like a battle. At Blissed Out babies, I use a holistic, realistic, practical, and gentle approach to guide families through sleep challenges in a way that respects your child’s unique needs, your parenting values, and your family’s routine.
Your toddler’s sleep doesn’t happen in isolation—it’s connected to every aspect of their development, including health, brain development, temperament, sensory needs and daily routines.
I consider the bigger picture, offering guidance that works harmoniously with who and where your child is today.
Parenting is busy, messy, and unpredictable. Not only that, but every family is different, what is achievable for one is not going to be achievable for another.
I focus on solutions that are practical for real life, helping you make sustainable changes without adding to your stress.
Forget rigid sleep rules and one-size-fits-all solutions.
My methods are grounded in evidence-based practices, tailored to your child’s personality and needs. I provide actionable steps that are easy to follow.
There’s no “one-size-fits-all” or harsh sleep training here—just nurturing, gentle techniques that build trust and confidence.
Every strategy I suggest is grounded in ensuring your toddler’s emotional wellbeing is considered.
Every child’s sleep journey is unique. We’ll begin with a comprehensive consultation to understand your toddler’s current sleep patterns, daily routines, temperament, and any challenges you’re facing. Together, we’ll look at contributing factors like nap schedules, feeding routines, bedtime environment, and how your toddler settles for sleep.
I’ll also consider family dynamics and any changes that might be influencing sleep, such as starting nursery, a new sibling, or transitions like moving to a big bed. This holistic understanding ensures our approach is personalized and realistic for your family.
Based on our consultation, I’ll create a practical, step-by-step sleep plan designed specifically for your toddler. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all template. Instead, it’s a tailored roadmap that considers:
The plan will include actionable strategies for improving bedtime routines, reducing night wakings, and nurturing sleep skills—at a pace that feels right for your child.
My approach respects your child’s emotions and developmental needs. We’ll focus on building a strong sense of security and trust, so your toddler feels supported as they learn new sleep habits. Techniques may include adjusting the bedtime routine, responding to night wakings in a consistent but gentle way, or gradually encouraging independent sleep without leaving your child to “cry it out.”
Sleep changes take time, and I’ll be there to support you every step of the way. Whether you choose a one-time troubleshooting session or a more in-depth coaching package, I’ll provide guidance and reassurance as you implement your plan.
Ongoing support can include:
Beyond just fixing sleep, my goal is to help you feel empowered and confident in managing your toddler’s sleep challenges, now and in the future. I’ll share tools and insights that help you understand your child’s sleep needs and respond effectively to any changes.
You’ll leave with more than a well-rested toddler—you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to navigate sleep with clarity and calm.
I’ve helped hundreds of families find peace and rest through my experience as a certified Holistic Sleep Coach (mentored by Lyndsey Hookway) and ABM Breastfeeding Supporter.
My approach is rooted in science but delivered with compassion, ensuring both you and your toddler feel supported every step of the way.
I am down to earth, friendly and real, I can laugh about the ups and downs of parenting whilst taking your problems seriously and working with you to come up with a plan that works for your family.
You’ll love working with me if you believe that gentle parenting, bonding and compassion are the building blocks of creating a blissed-out family.
You’ll love working with me if you are keen to know not only what to do, but also why you’re doing it. If you want to reach out to someone who is not going to take over but who is going to teach you and empower you, then I can help you.
My name is Jemma and I’m Mum to Max and Holly. I’m married to Mark, my ever-supportive husband and I am a paediatric sleep consultant in Manchester. Don’t worry if you’re not local though as I do most of my work online.
I’m passionate about gentle parenting techniques that encourage bonding and attachment. I understand that parenthood is the long game so I’m not about quick fixes that are not baby or child-focused.
I teach friendly and social baby massage courses in Sale, South Manchester and also support families in improving their sleep online and worldwide.
I help to empower you to better understand your child’s needs and support you in making practical changes that are developmentally appropriate and evidence based.
After years in the corporate world, I began my adventure in qualifying as an IAIM baby massage instructor whilst on my first maternity leave, inspired by my own experience using positive nurturing touch to bond with my little one.
I have always been interested in gentle parenting techniques, and as a self confessed ‘geek’ I spent many a sleepless night reading. I became so interested in infant brain development and the science of sleep that I completed my Holistic Sleep Coaching qualification so am now a sleep consultant based in Manchester but I can work with you from anywhere in the world online!
This coupled with my experience in settling techniques, toddler negotiation strategies and analysis of naps and sleep needs gives me a wealth of knowledge to be able help you.
If you’re looking for help with making changes to your family’s sleeping habits and would like to speak to a toddler sleep consultant who is down to earth and sympathetic and will focus on you and your family with empathy and understanding then please get in touch.
I would love to hear from you!

With two young children of my own, both of which have been challenging sleep-wise, I have almost certainly experienced first hand what you are going through.
I love to help people and I love to get results. Nothing makes me happier than to see parents who have been finding things difficult turn a corner and start to see things get better.
You can rely on me to be there for you, I’m there to answer your questions, listen to your problems and share your happiness when things are going great.
I don’t believe that in order to get better sleep parents should ever have to leave their children to cry. None of the strategies I ever suggest involve closing the door and walking away from your crying child.
The fundamental core of my practice is based on science, attachment theory and the best available research. My skill is in integrating all this into a plan of action that is bespoke to each family.
I am not in the ‘cry it out sleep training’ camp, nor am I in the ‘suck it up, this is life as a parent’ camp. My support will help you to find the balance of making changes that align with your parenting values. When you need a gentle nudge to keep going I’m here!
