When making up the bottles try not to shake so vigorously that the top half of the formula is full of bubbles. Note you should still ensure the powder is fully mixed but this can be done more slowly. VIDEO

Avoid encouraging the baby to finish a bottle, our little ones are the best judges of their appetite, trust them to decide when they have had enough.

Try bottles with colic relief vents, there are many available on the market now. It can sometimes be trial and error as to what babies like. Why not be a bit cheeky and call the manufacturer up and ask for a sample?

Offer smaller, more frequent feeds.
